Triad Electric

Project Size: est. 11,000 sq. ft.
Completion: February 2012

Triad Electric & Controls Inc came to GHA with intentions to reuse their current facility while increasing the overall footprint, to provide for their growing programmatic needs. The existing facility has been stripped down to the metal building frames and foundation, ready to be used as the hearth of the new building design.

Including the original foundation, the designed overall square footage is approximately double that of the previous. The programmatic addition will be added to the front and rear portion of the footprint. The structure will continue to the metal building frames, but this is no typical shed. The exterior cladding will be updated to incorporate a clean collage of composite metal and phenolic resin panels. The project is currently in the design development stages.

GHA has made a commitment to the promotion and practice of sustainable design. We encourage all of our clients, regardless of their interest in seeking LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification, to incorporate sustainable materials into their design. This commitment is underscored by the design of our corporate office located on Government Street in Baton Rouge.

Currently GHA's company roster includes three LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED AP): architect Jerry Hebert, intern architect David Hebert and interior designer Ashley Ferrand. Read more >
