Louisiana Sheriffs' Association

Project Size: 14,700 sq. ft.
Completion: May 2012

GHA is currently in the design process for a new office building which will house the Louisiana Sheriffs' Association. The project involves demolishing two existing buildings, and replacing it with a new facility that addresses the LSA's current and future needs. The Louisiana Sheriffs' Association comprises Louisiana's 65 sheriffs and nearly 14,000 deputy sheriffs. Its purpose is to maintain the powers of the sheriff as peace officer, to ensure the delivery of first-rate services by sponsoring legislation to promote the administration of criminal justice and to serve as a clearinghouse for information.

LEED Accredited

GHA has made a commitment to the promotion and practice of sustainable design. We encourage all of our clients, regardless of their interest in seeking LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification, to incorporate sustainable materials into their design. This commitment is underscored by the design of our corporate office located on Government Street in Baton Rouge.

Currently GHA's company roster includes three LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED AP): architect Jerry Hebert, intern architect David Hebert and interior designer Ashley Ferrand. Read more >
