Safety Council

Project Size: 32,500 sq. ft.

Recently designed and plans prepared for distribution, construction of a new headquarters for Safety Council is set to begin in early 2012. The Safety Council is a non-profit organization that exists to improve safety in the workplace, community and the home. The proposed new building will be a state-of-the-art training center with modern workspaces that that will feature multiple training labs, technology enhanced classrooms, a member media library, a community child car-seat inspection and fitting station, and new labs where the Safety Council will continue to design and develop innovative web based learning courses. With a scheduled completion date of Fall 2012, this impressive 32,500-sq. ft. office and training facility will instruct as many as 7,000 students per month.

LEED Accredited

GHA has made a commitment to the promotion and practice of sustainable design. We encourage all of our clients, regardless of their interest in seeking LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification, to incorporate sustainable materials into their design. This commitment is underscored by the design of our corporate office located on Government Street in Baton Rouge.
