Iberville Veteran's Memorial

Completed: September 2008

The interactive design of the Veterans Memorial Project was a chance for Iberville Parish to honor the courageous men and women who have served our country over the past century and continue to protect our way of life.

The design includes a body of water surrounding submerged markers representing past conflicts which cannot be changed. Symbolically located on the other side of the Memorial Wall and outside the pool, a lone marker represents current and future conflicts and serves as a reminder that we can change our present and future.

Additionally, the translucent block provides a complete transformation from day to night to serve as a beacon recognizing those that gave the ultimate sacrifice.
